Happy 12th Anniversary
Cory and I have been married for 12 years now. The time has gone by so fast. As we were talking and thinking back to our wedding day, we both had to laugh as we remembered coming back to our apartment to find the landlord and the plumber in the kitchen. As we walked in they both looked at us and asked us how the wedding was and then went back under the sink to fix the leak. Needless to say I was mad, so Cory and I went and got some dinner. Well 12 years later we have 3 kids 5 and under, and hardly ever get a chance to go out. Cory decided that this year he was taking me away for the weekend. I loved it because he let me pick almost everything that we did. We went to Gardner's Village to see the Elves, we went to the Rook in Salt Lake for dinner, (I recommend to ever one that if you want to go to a very nice dinner but you will pay for it go to the Roof). We had tickets to a concert but we were to tired to go, how sad is that. We also went and saw Twilight which I liked, and I cant wait for the next one. We drove around Salt Lake and looked at all the old buildings, some or them are very beautiful. We stayed at the Anniversary Inn at were able to stay in the "Room with a View" room. It was very nice we had a great view of the city. The sad part of this hole weekend is that we spent half of it sleeping. I forgot how nice it is to get up when I want to, not when my kids want me to. I should tell you though that I think our kids had just as much fun as we did. The kids got to stay with cousins in Layton for the weekend, and partied the hole time.

I remember your wedding. You guys got married exactly one month before we did. I remember the plumbing story. That's was freaking hilarious!!! Can you believe it's been 12 years?! I totally understand spending most of the weekend sleeping and being too tired to go to the concert. Yes, it's sad but we would have done the exact same thing!!!
