The Tulip Festival

I went on my monthly lunch with the girls last week. We went to Thanksgiving point and ate at the Trellis Cafe. I have to say I was surprised at how good the food was. We then went for a walk through the gardens. Now when I think of a Tulip Festival, I think of hundred and hundreds of flower. I have to say I felt more like I was walking through Dow Gardens in Midland MI. I took a few pictures and thought I would share them. I have to say I do love spring and flowers. They make me feel like the world is a very peaceful place.

Swimming with Grandma and Daddy

Last week Cory and his mom took the girls swimming at the Legacy Center in Lehi. They had such a great time and I had fun watching them play. Haley and Brinley loved the water slide, and Tasha was off doing her own thing most of the time. All thought she did love taking grandma's water toys and spraying me with the water. I love it now that the girls are old enough to enjoy stuff like this with out having to have Cory and I right with them.

My little girl turned 5

Yesterday was a big day for Haley. She has been talking about her birthday for a year now and finally she can tell every one that she is 5. I have to say that I really like it when my kids have Sunday birthday. I have found that I like small family party's much better then the big ones. After Haley spent most of the day asking if we could make her cake, Cory gave in, in the middle of conference and let her help make her cake. From what I could tell she had a good day. Grandma made the day when she gave Haley Barbie Glam Wear. Haley then disappeared into her bedroom for the rest of the night dressing up her one and only Barbie. I even found her sleeping with it. You know the gift rocked when she does that. I can't believe that 5 years ago I gave birth to this little 3.5lb. baby girl who is now such a big girl. I love you my little Haley (WeeZee) girl.
