While in Junction we were able to go to Marysville (12 miles north) and visit an old gold mine that Grandpa Vernal Williams use to mine at in 1917 or 18, right before he joined the Army. It was nice to be able to sit and listen to Grandma tell the story, and for the kids to see how people lived back then. I didn't get a picture of the out house, but Brinley asked if she could use it.

That is so cool! Steve and I would love that place. There's a cabin like that in Island Park, ID we had fun visiting.
